Remember when summer movie season started this weekend. This year we have been in the summer movie season for weeks already. I am going to go to see the day after tommorow with RC. I am not so excited abotut he movie but I enjoy her company and apparently the Bush administration is nervous about the movie.

I just started reading this blog Rance that is suposedly by some famous actor (maybe owen wilson) but in reality is probably someones fantasy life. I would love someone to do a blog where they are a mole in the republican party giving secrets to the democrats or something. All the new terrorit threat stuff is apparent in NYC already. They have signs everywhere about if you suspect terrorism or if you see something say something. I saw a guy touch a womans ass is that what they are talking about? I saw a cop looking into a car of the subway before it left the station. Like is that keeping things safer? I believe there is a terrorist threat. I am sure Al Queda is growing daily BUT I think the administration let this info out to get people scared so Bush can continue to justify his screwed up agenda.

I have hemmeroids. Well just one but it SUCKS.

Perhaps staining my booksleves turned out to be a bigger task than I had originally anticipated-the stain smelled pretty bad but it is nothing compared to the sealent. I think I may have to take the unit outside to finish. Had a good day. Went to MOMA QNS to see the fashion photography exhibit. It was okay. NSU students g et in for free and I enjoy riding the 7 train. Then I went to the Whintney to see the Biennial. I went through pretty quickly because it was pretty crowded. Kiefer Sutherland was there looking very tan and much shorter than I would have expected in person. Then I walked to 59th and took the subway to Astor Pl. I ordered the mongolia guide and refilled an RX (diflucan those who know) Went to yoga. It wasn't crowded so thats nice. I cannot believe I just saw this awards show the PRISM awards that reward "realistic portrayals of sunstance abuse" Hmmmmmm

Well Hello There

Um hi I know having a blog is very Spring 2003 but I am usually behind on these things. I just got an email from my good friend S and I have been pretty addicted to reading her blog. She said I should get one that maybe it will help me with my writing. I have no idea who is going to read this or if I even want anyone to. I spent most of the day staining a bookshelf and I think the fumes have gone a bit to my head. I still have a TV table, CD holder, and taller shelf to do. I think we are going to need more newspapers and more midnight blue stain.

My roommate returned from being gone all week. I did enjoy the break of having the place all tomyself but I also realize that when alone for extended periods of time I tend to be on "left to my own devices behaviour" which usually means eating badly and pretending to have conversations as if I were on dinner for five.

Watched the Preakness on NBC. It made me super nostalgic for the Derby trip of last year. Go Smart Jones. I really want to go to Belmont but I am sure it is going to be a madhouse. If it is raining like last year I am just going to go to the OTB and watch it on TV.

I am going to Mongolia in July on a yoga retreat. I've been pretty anxious about it ever I came back from my vacation the week before last. All the reasons I wanted to do it (getting WAY out of my comfort zone, Doing something for others, seeing somewhere undeveloped) are the reasons I don't want to do it. (except helping others which is why I flake out I will just let the non profit CRTP keep my money because I believe in what they are doing) Maybe it is the prospect of three weeks with a compost toilet?

Saturday night 10pm andI am home watching FUSE and started a blog. I should finish jarhead the book about a marine during the gulfwar.

Tim Russert said to larry King that he thinks the administration really rwlaizes how serious all this abuse scandal/Berg stuff is well no shit Tim thanks...I cannot wait until Aug 29th the Republicans are coming here we don't even have to go to them how nice.
